What can I expect from chirochild?

Dr Chamberlain, Chiropractor, takes a thorough history. Then he performs a full neuro-musculo-skeletal examination. Any atypical findings will be discussed.

What shall I bring to my child's chiropractic appointment?

Your child! Your ‘green book’ (Maternal and Child Health Nurse book). Any relevant medical reports, scans or xrays.

How can payments be made?

For chiropractic home visits – cash, direct debit, credit card. A receipt will be given, to forward to your private health fund for reimbursement.

At Greensborough – EFT/credit card, HICAPS available, cash, direct debit.

When is payment required?

Payment is required on the day of your child's consultation.

Do you accept HICAPS/private health insurance?

What if i can't afford these prices?

We accept health care cards (NP = $110 and return visits $55). At the end of the day, we see it as a great privilege to care for children. If there is a financial barrier, we will be able to come up with a plan to care for your child. Just ask (we mean it).

Do I need a referral to bring my child to you?

No. But you do need to call/email/text to make an appointment.

How far do you travel for home visits?

Dr Chamberlain, Chiropractor, is based in the northeastern suburbs of Melbourne. If the distance is more than ~30 minutes, a $25/quarter-hourly travel fee is applicable to travel time (first half hour travel is built into home visit fee). So, if you live 45 mins away, the new patient consultation will be 180 + 50 home visit fee + 25 additional time = 255.

Can my child be seen at my home, then follow-up at the practice?

Yes. The files are directly transferrable from your home to the clinic.
